I am 16 years old.I attend Dillard High School and going to the 11th grade. I live in Coral Springs,Fl. My favorite hobbies are playing baseball, basketball, and particpating in community activites. I am 16 years old and will be a junior at Northeast High School next year.I am 15 years old and soon turning 16, I am from Ecuador, I go to Flanagan High School, I am in 11th grade, I am a Leo, my hobbies are go to the pool, and go partying, my favorite sport is SOCCER.

The Sun is a star no different from any star in the sky,except that it is much nearer then any other star. The Sun is a ball of hot gas, in which 76% of the mass is hydyrogen,and the rest is helium.The corona is millions of Kelvin. The Sun's power house is buried in the center core, where the temperture reaches 15 million Kelvin and the gas is 20 times denser.

Hydrogen nuclei and single protons crash together and build up nuclied nuphilium . Every second 4 million hydrogen generates sun's energy ,which radiates out of the core. Jets of gas that shoot flames a thousands kilometers high are called spicles.

In the Sun region sun's spot form in pairs or groups,and they look brown because it is a thousand Kelvins cooler. The most intense energy are solar flares,and they can blast particles as far as the earth and beyond. The gas particles from the flares fly out into the solar system. They crash into the upper atmosphere of earth to form an Aurora.

The Sun has it's own magnetic field, which is five times stronger then the earth's. The Sun's magnetic field controls Sun spots. The Sun spins once a month ,but varys with latitude. It takes 11 years for a Sun spot to complete a full cycle.
