The Western Crew

The sun is considered as a dwarf star. It's mass and radius are close to the mass and size of all the stars in the galaxy. The spectral intensity light is giving the sunlight it's yellow color.
In 1611 observations were made of the sunspots by Galileo and also Galileo discovered the solar rotation from the sunspot motions. The strong magnetic field of the sunspot were detected by George Ellery Hale in 1908. The solar wind was detected in 1962, and the holes of the corona in 1969.
The central temperature of the inner core is about 15 million K. Present evidence suggest that the plasma of the central nuclear burning region of the sun is not mixed with the materials in the outer shells. Some 10% of the sun's mass will be transformed into helium after 10 billion years. The sun's age is estimated to be about 5 billion years old.
